Unlocking Access: A Celebration of Accessibility Solutions (Past Event - July 7, 2025)

This past event was held at Florida Lifestyle Reality Group in Mount Dora at 2385 W. Old Hwy 441, Mt Dora, FL 32757 on 7/7/2025 from 10am to 2pm.

Looking for an opportunity to build community connections and strengthen access opportunities throughout central Florida? This was our first in-person event, and it featured exciting raffle prizes, silent auction prizes, and auctions, experience and gift packages donated by several Central Florida venues: including Brevard Zoo, Wonder Works, Chipotle, Portillos, Arby’s, Brew Bus and more.

Resource gathering for engaging and empowering Disabled community members was offered at the event.

Big impacts start with small actions.

Conferences

Accessibility and Assistive Technology Services Association - The Accessibility and Assistive Technology Services Association is a proposed network under development within the nonprofit sector. Unlike similar organizations that predominantly feature equipment vendors on their boards, the Association is intended to include service providers. This design is intended to ensure that leadership and strategic decisions would stem directly from those who deliver services, fostering an environment of shared expertise and practical insights.

Vendor participation will be limited to an invitation-only basis, maintaining the focus on service provision and reinforcing the Association's commitment to promoting high-quality, client-centered practices in accessibility and assistive technology. This approach is intended to differentiate the Association while remaining sufficiently aligned with industry standards, ensuring both innovation and collaboration within the field.
