Qualifying for Services

These criteria apply to charitable assistance and subsidized direct services for individuals and families. They do not apply to schools, districts, agencies, employers, nonprofits, or other organizations. Our services and programs are dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities who face financial, physical, and situational challenges. Eligibility for assistance is determined through an evaluation of the following criteria:

• Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship through supporting documentation.

• Documented Disability: A valid diagnosis or certification of disability is required.

• Specific Hardships: Consideration is given to unique circumstances that impact the individual’s access to necessary resources or services.

To ensure responsible allocation of resources, applicants are encouraged to explore coverage options through their insurance or other funding sources before seeking assistance from our services and programs. Funding options vary by individual circumstance and are not guaranteed; The Accessibility Clinic cannot guarantee coverage, eligibility, or reimbursement from any specific funding source.

Our evaluation process is designed to balance flexibility with fairness, recognizing the diverse needs of the community we serve. While we strive to assist as many individuals as possible, support is provided at the discretion of The Accessibility Clinic and is subject to availability of resources. The Accessibility Clinic welcomes inquiries from individuals and organizations regardless of location. Availability of direct services and charitable assistance varies by program, service type, funding, and geographic feasibility.

The Accessibility Grant program closed to new applications on July 31, 2026. Services are currently offered on a fee-for-service basis. To request a specific service from The Accessibility Clinic directly, use the Intake Form to Request Services.
